3CX: Enabling a Remote Work Force Session 2
As the global Corona Virus (COVID-19) Pandemic intensifies in the Australian market, industries are working frantically to determine ways to enable employees to work remotely.
In this webinar we will take a look at how 3CX can enable businesses to quickly and easily enable full audio and video communications for their remote workers, at an affordable price suited for unplanned budgets.
With full unified communication features such as Chat, Presence, Audio and Video Calls and Video Conferencing to name a few, remote workers will have a communications platform that enables them to communicate with customers as well as internal staff, whether the staff are in the office or remote.

Patton: An introduction and Use Cases of an eSBC
An eSBC is required in All-IP and unified communications (UC) networking environments. In contrast to a VoIP gateway, which converts traditional TDM telephony to packet-based voice, a SIP eSBC is typically deployed in IP-to-IP implementations. Security issues-snooping, hacking, and especially toll fraud, are major concerns.
To hide network topologies and protect service-provider and enterprise packet networks from malicious activity, an eSBC may terminate a received call and initiate a second call to the destination entity.
This function is known as a back-to-back user agent (B2BUA). I high quality eSBC also provides transcoding for Wan optimizations and bandwidth management. Certain vendors have coined other names for their SBC products, including Multimedia Border Element (MMBE) or Unified Border Element.
